Description:As one third of the trio Derelicts of Rhyme, Money Green bka Deepa is an original member of NOLA based rap coalition Psycho Ward which have spawned the likes of Mac as well as nationally decorated DJ Raj Smoove. Due to a lack of dedication to his craft at that time there was no involvement on his part in several projects released by PW including the underground classic WWW. PSYCHOWARD.COM. In an attempt to focus on music and separate himself from the “street life”, he recorded the underground single Dog Fight which created quite the local buzz locally and caught the attention of newly formed label Mad Track Records where he was featured heavily on the 2005 “ Built Up Anger” compilation as an artist writer and producer under the alias Raw Cuss. With his debut offering almost complete disaster strikes in the form of Hurricane Katrina temporarily halting all progress. While admitting disappointment but not deterred by the setback. Money states “ This is part of a higher plan, it wasn’t time. The whole situation just wasn’t supposed happen under those circumstances. Now free of obligation to MT Records, Money plays the role of CEO of his own imprint Cuss Em Out Entertainment. His new single “Ey Flossa” is garnering heavy attention in the streets and the club scene alike, as anticipation of the long overdue debut album “Gift of Money” builds.
